Providing our children with the very best education possible is our primary aim.  At Bishop Bridgeman, we inspire minds. The primary years are the most important in a child’s life and are certainly the most exciting.  Our aspiration is to provide a sense of wonder and discovery from the moment children start their learning journey.  Our staff are committed to developing in each child a love of learning and developing the skills, knowledge and values to support their all-round development, to make a positive contribution to the school community and become responsible members of society.  Our curriculum provides our children exciting opportunities enabling them to grow into confident young people, giving them the life skills to succeed in whatever they choose to achieve and surpass their potential.

The children will experience a knowledge-based curriculum so that they all have the essential knowledge to be successful learners.  In addition, the curriculum design ensures all children have access to a wide range of experiences which develop their confidence, resilience, independence and development of character so that they can discover talents, and interest which enable them to flourish.

Under the equality act 2010, SEND regulations 2014, we ensure that all children have the greatest possible access to a broad, balanced and differentiated curriculum, which is appropriately matched to the individual and the needs of that child.
