Our Philosophy:

At Bishop Bridgeman, we believe that a high-quality science education is essential for understanding the world. As well as teaching key scientific concepts and developing children’s knowledge and understanding, we aim to develop each child’s enquiry skills. We encourage children to ask their own scientific questions and seek answers through a variety of different approaches.

We follow the programme of study set out in the National Curriculum, which ensures that all children can build upon their knowledge and ability to work scientifically, as they progress through the year groups.
